Meet Prema Vanda

Prema Vanda began between two friends and longtime yoga teachers—Beth and Dani—who wanted to explore something fresh, more connected, and a little adventurous. What started as a playful idea quickly became a shared vision: to blend yoga, travel, and meaningful experiences in a way that feels both expansive and personal. With our retreats, we invite others to journey with us—not just to beautiful places, but toward deeper presence and connection.

Beth Kuehnert

My yoga journey began in true 90s fashion—with a Dixie Carter VHS tape (for those of you who were around then - yes, that Dixie Carter from Designing Women—see for yourself). I quickly moved on to Bryan Kest’s iconic Power Yoga video and never looked back.

I was 17, hooked on yoga’s mix of strength, stillness, and breath. Over time, my practice deepened—from living room flows to classes in gyms and studios. In my early thirties, a Les Mills Bodyflow training popped up at my local gym, and I said yes. That yes turned into a domino of discovery.

I’ve been sharing yoga for over 16 years now, and it remains one of my deepest joys. To me, yoga is more than just movement—it’s a heartfelt conversation with the body. I believe we should speak to our bodies with the same compassion we would offer a dear friend. I aim to create a space that’s welcoming and playful, with humor, kindness, and music that speaks to the moment. I hope to guide you gently, and I truly look forward to seeing you on the mat.

Dania Jamileh

I'm Dani Jamileh, and I've been teaching yoga for over 11 years. What first brought me to the mat wasn't movement—it was meditation. I fell in love with meditation during a high school theater arts class, and even though I later found myself in a fast-paced career through my late 20s and 30s, that longing to reconnect with presence never left me.

As a fitness instructor, I've always valued flexibility and alignment, but I was missing something deeper—my original connection to mindfulness. That’s when I began traveling the country, seeking out instructors who shared my values and passions. I’ve been lucky to learn from some incredible mentors, many of whom I now call dear friends. They taught me that yoga is so much more than postures and poses—it’s a way of being, far beyond the images we often see.

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching students from diverse backgrounds, in locations ranging from my hometown to Central America, Canada, and the Caribbean. My classes invite people into awareness, connection, and authenticity—and that’s where the magic happens.
